Jai Vajra Volvo!

I am so glad I live on one of the Big 10 roads of bangalore where the frequency of BMTC (especially Volvos) is high!..... I went to meet an IISR classmate of mine at MG.....Was happily having mango ice cream with mango pulp at Corner house when something struck me......Oh mann.... Its 11 in the nite!...I need to return to Marathahalli!!....But just as I walked down Residency.....Voila!....A 335E at Mayo Hall Bus stop.....Reached home in exactly 18 mins!..... I couldnt have imagined returning home in a bus (that too in a Volvo) at 11 in the night if I lived elsewhere...

I still remember the good old college days when we used to plead and plead auto drivers to take only 1.5 times the meter fare (overclocked of course) to go back to college at 10 in the night...... :).....

My walking escapade...

For some weird odd reason, I decided to walk home from CMH Road.... since I had taken an auto from there once, I knew it was around 10-11 km....I started at 7 pm and reached Rohan Vasantha at 9...The worst stretch to walk was between Old airport entrance and yemalur cross (before marathahalli market)....It was dark and I was the only person walking!....

A tiring walk indeed!....But since I had undertaken a similar crazy walk last year (from ulsoor lake to koramangala 4th block), I knew I could do a 11 km one without really overstretching myself....
